SUMMARY:Expand Your Creativity as Soul by Chanting HU: A SOUND OF SOUL EVENT
DESCRIPTION: \n“Do your exercises need to be refreshed? Enlivened? Strip away attitudes holding you back. Let go of patterns no longer serving you. Key: Try new ways to hear and see the Light and Sound of God.\n\n“Look around in your daily life. Divine Spirit will reveal new images, bring new sounds to your ears, and set the stage for new stories of loving and living. Explore and expand these in your contemplations with a playful creative spirit. Develop stories your heart desires.\n\n“And then—the stillness of listening.”\n\n—Sri Doug Kunin, The Mystic World, December 2025, p. 9\n \n\nWelcome to this free in-person event at the Eckankar Center in Villa Park.\n\nHU is a sacred sound and ancient mantra. It is an ancient name for God that has been sung for thousands of years in many lands for spiritual unfoldment.  www.hearhu.org\n\n \n\nWhat to Expect\n\nAn inspirational quote will be shared before a fifteen-to-twenty-minute HU chant. The HU chant is easy and doesn’t require you to be a singer or to have done it before. You are welcome to join in or simply listen to the beautiful sound.\n\nChanting is followed by a period of quiet contemplation—a time to connect with the highest part of yourself: divine love. Afterward you’re welcome to join in a spiritual conversation to explore your experiences or questions over tea and refreshments.\n\nAttendees often share these special benefits:\n\n Inner peace and calm\n Divine love or a stronger connection with God\n Expanded awareness or understanding\n Healing of the heart\n\n\n\nPeople of all cultures, faiths, and backgrounds are welcome and have found benefits from chanting HU, a love song to God.\n\nQuestions, call 630-427-5950.
